All of our farm products are grown, picked and produced right here on our 20 acre family farm by Farmer Jessee and his dad Farmer Will. Everything is then packed fresh and delivered directly to your door by Jessee, Erica, Sandy and the Farm Team. If there was ever a safe way to get fresh produce that wasn’t shipped thousands of miles and handled by hundreds of nameless workers, this is the way to do it. Buying produce from farms like Berry Hill keeps your money investing in your local economy, reduces your carbon footprint, and guarantees your family steady access to the freshest and healthiest food money can buy.
Full Season and Weekly Payments options are available, with no contracts or commitments. Thank you guys so much for your support of local farming!

Policies / Frequently Asked Questions

1 . What types of payment do you take?
Most of our customers make payments online through our secure webstore via PayPal. When signing up customers are given the option to pay in full for the season (a big help for early season seed and fertilizer costs) or set-up automatic weekly Payments, both done through PayPal. For those who would prefer we also take personal checks or cash mailed directly to the farm or put in an envelope and taped to the door (or placed in the previous week’s empty bag) on delivery days. In recent years some customers have taken to using Venmo, on which we are listed as @farmgypsy.

2 . What areas to you deliver to?
Over the years we have steady increased our delivery area. Currently we do almost all areas of the Northshore and Southshore on either side of Lake Pontchartrain. This includes the communities of Hammond, Loranger, TIckfaw, Ponchatoula, Goodbee, Madisonville, Covington, Mandeville, Abita Springs, Lacombe, and Slidell on the Northshore. On the Southshore we delivery to most every part of Metarie and New Orleans proper between the river and the Lake, including Kenner, River Ridge, Metarie, Gentilly, Lakeview, Bayou St John, the Garden District, the CBD, the Quarter, Marigny, the Bywater, Treme and just about anywhere else in Orleans parish. We do not currently deliver to the WestBank.

3 . What growing methods do you use?
For close to a decade now we have only used Organic methods of production in our farm gardens. This means we only use OMRI certified products and our produce is never sprayed with potentially toxic conventional herbicides, pesticides, insecticides or fungicides. For the soil we spread our own chicken and cow manure using an old style manure spreader and supplement the earth with other organic fertilizers such as bone and bloodmeal. All of our produce is safe to eat right off the plant and is picked within 24 hours of delivery to your doorstep.

4 . What’s your policy on refunds?
If for any reason you do not receive your order or are in any way dissatisfied with your purchase we will gladly send a replacement bag the following week or a full refund, whichever suits your needs.

5 . How about Cancellation?
Of course any subscriber is welcome to stop their deliveries at any point for any reason.  Please contact us directly or use the cancellation option in the members sections of the website.
